This authentic potato shouchu gets its strength of character from a man called Heihachiro Oshio, who in the 5th year of the Tempo Period (1834) stood up to the government's misrule in order to help the needy during a time of great famine. Our specially selected Miyazaki Beni Kotobuki sweet potatoes are brewed with black malt to produce this fragrant shouchu, which overflows with a highly individual flavor and quality. Heihachiro, imbued with the authentic spirit of a brewery founded in the Tempo Period, is the connoisseur's choice.
